located in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada.
How to get to Mount Sima...
Mount Sima is a 15 minute drive
south of Downtown Whitehorse and the Whitehorse International Airport.
Just head south along the Alaska Highway until you see the Mount Sima sign
along the side of the road, then head 5km up the Mount Sima Road.

Here are some facts about Mount Sima:
- 1100 foot vertical (350 metres)
- There are 12 runs, including green (easiest), blue (moderate), black
(hardest) and glade runs
- Snowmaking from top to bottom
- One double chair lift and one handle tow are in operation
- A full service day lodge is located at the base of Mount Sima
- Operating since 1993
- The season usually begins in mid-December and extends into April
- A non-profit society (Great Northern Ski Society) runs the hill
- The ski hill benefits from the contributions of many volunteers and
generous businesses
- Kitchen facility open daily with soup, chili and sandwiches
- All revenue generated by the ski hill goes towards staff wages, operating
costs, and hill development
- The hill staff includes over 20 dedicated employees during its operating
season
